We started with a simple question: why do the products we buy in grocery stores have so many gosh darn ingredients? This question would end up changing my life.

As I started to pay more attention to the products I was buying, I noticed that even a loaf of bread could have over forty ingredients! I wanted to see if I could do better, which led to months obsessing over making the perfect loaf of bread and then figuring out how to deliver people the best possible bread-eating experience at home with only three ingredients: flour, water, and salt. BreadBox was born.

But in our tiny 600 sq. ft. bakery, we couldn't keep up with demand. So, we shifted our attention to crackers…then granola…then energy bites…and so on.

Now we are in a 7,000 square foot state of the art facility and are doubling down on our founding philosophy - use simple organic ingredients and that’s it - no weird stuff.

We're on a mission to rebrand carbs and reimagine carb-filled snacks of all kinds with better ingredients and no additives or preservatives. We make food the way you would for your family - we just do it for a much, much bigger family.
